Exciting news! Chris Hanson, a Senior Cloud Native Engineer with RX-M will be speaking at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2020 about zero-downtime deployments on Kubernetes.
Chris’s session will cover how Kubernetes provides several types of automation controllers to deploy and manage applications at scale and how each has features that provide for zero-downtime upgrades and rollbacks.
Attendees of Chris’s session will be able to learn about StatefulSets and other controller types through a series of demonstrations that will reveal their features, benefits, and drawbacks. Chris will also explore the primitives that enable granular control over rollouts so that Kubernetes administrators and developers can choose the settings that work best for their applications.
Based out of San Francisco, Chris is also a CKA, CKAD and has taught thousands of engineers and developers how to successfully use containers, Kubernetes and other cloud native tooling to build, package, deploy and orchestrate applications at scale. Chris is an instructor in the RX-M CKA Boot Camp program while also playing a lead role in many client-facing cloud native development projects.
