EFbK Stack is an intensive, two-day, hands-on course that helps working technology professionals master Elasticsearch, Fluent Bit, and Kibana. Attendees learn how to integrate data from many sources, including application containers, using the Fluent Bit collection and filtering engine. From there, the course covers aggregating and analyzing real-time data with Elasticsearch’s highly available, schema-less platform.
Students also use the Kibana visualization tool in several lab settings. Eight hands-on labs give practical experience with each part of the stack. Attendees leave with a clear understanding of how to use EFbK to pull high-value insights from large streaming datasets in real time.
Day one moves from an architecture overview into installing and configuring Fluent Bit, then spends two modules on inputs, filtering, and output formatting so attendees can shape raw log streams before they reach an index. Day two shifts to Elasticsearch, covering installation, the query DSL, and analyzers, mappings, and indexes. The course closes with a Kibana basics module, giving attendees a working visualization layer on top of the data they indexed earlier. By the end, attendees can trace a single log line from Fluent Bit ingestion through Elasticsearch indexing to a Kibana dashboard they built themselves.
