GitOps Certified Associate (CGOA) Boot Camp with Exam is an intensive, two-day program in vendor-neutral GitOps principles and patterns. Attendees study the OpenGitOps standard underlying tools such as ArgoCD, Flux, and Jenkins X. This positions GitOps as the foundational deployment practice for modern cloud-native and AI infrastructure delivery. DevOps engineers, platform teams, and CI/CD practitioners leave ready to design and operate GitOps-managed systems. They also leave with the knowledge needed to pass the CD Foundation/CNCF CGOA certification exam.
The course covers all five official CGOA exam domains, weighted to match the certification blueprint. Day one covers the four core GitOps principles, terminology, related practices, and deployment patterns. GitOps tooling and reconciliation engines such as ArgoCD and Flux fill day two. The course finishes with two dedicated test prep sessions. These give attendees a practical, test-style experience with sample questions modeled on the real exam format. Attendees leave well prepared to sit the CGOA exam itself.
Lab work has attendees apply GitOps principles and patterns using real reconciliation engines. They practice declarative configuration, state reconciliation, and pull-based deployment workflows. Attendees leave with a broader understanding of GitOps and cloud-native delivery. This greatly increases their chances of passing the CGOA exam on the first attempt.
