This Hive training course covers intermediate and advanced topics and is intended for experienced Hive users. Hive is examined from end to end with lecture, demos and hands-on labs covering each of the main aspects of Hive. Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared to tackle advanced Hive projects.

What Attendees will learn
This course is an intensive two day intermediate and advanced topic course for experienced Hive users. Upon completion of this course students will be prepared to tackle advanced Hive projects. Learning modules include:
- Hive basics review
- Hive data definition language (DDL)
- Hive data manipulation language (DML)
- Hive query language (HiveQL)
- Hive views
Each attendee will require the ability to run a 64 bit virtual machine (provided with the course). Basic Linux command line skills are valuable but not required. Participants should have a working knowledge of Hive.
