This two-day hands-on course is designed to provide a deeper look at a range of Kubernetes networking topics, such as Core Kubernetes Network Functionality, DNS, L3, and L4 solutions, and network policy.
This course is designed to provide Kubernetes operators with a deeper look at networking in the Kubernetes environment, providing attendees with concepts and practical hands-on skills for working with a range of Kubernetes networking solutions. The course covers both L3 and L4 solutions and highlights the pros and cons of each. Core Kubernetes network functionality is also examined in detail, including features such as DNS and network policy. Upon completion, attendees will have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage Kubernetes networking solutions in production environments.

What Attendees will learn
RX-M’s Kubernetes Networking class is a two day, hands-on course built to provide Kubernetes operators with a deeper look at networking in the Kubernetes environment.
The course provides attendees the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage Kubernetes networking solutions in production environments, including:
- L3 and L4 Networking solutions for Kubernetes
- Working with Kubernetes container network interface (CNI) plugins
- Kubernetes DNS and establishing network policy
- Tuning and testing network solutions
The RX-M “Docker Foundation” (Containers, Images, Containers in Practice) and “Kubernetes Foundation” (Containers & Orchestration, Kubernetes Architecture) courses or equivalent knowledge. Each attendee must provide their own laptop with the ability to run a 64 bit virtual machine. Unconstrained internet access is also required to complete the student hands-on lab exercises.
