Certified Cloud Native Platform Engineering Associate (CNPA) Boot Camp with Exam
The Certified Cloud Native Platform Engineering Associate (CNPA) 2-day boot camp is designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of platform engineering concepts and fundamentals. The course covers all of the domains and competencies in the CNPA curriculum so that candidates are well prepared to take and pass the exam. Lectures, demonstrations, and mock exam questions are used throughout the course to solidify attendees’ knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration, continuous delivery, GitOps, internal developer portals (IDPs), observability, security, and more. The course also includes a drill session at the end of the second day to give attendees a practical test style experience before taking the exam.
The course positions attendees to successfully complete the CNPA exam from the CNCF and will cover topics like:
- Declarative resource management
- DevOps practices in platform engineering
- Approaches to platform engineering
- Continuous integration (CI) concepts
- Continuous delivery (CD) fundamentals
- GitOps concepts and workflows
- Observability signals: metrics, traces, logs, and events
- Platform governance and using policy engines for enforcement
- Security in CI/CD, Kubernetes, service communication
- API abstractions and Kubernetes custom resources
- Provisioning infrastructure with Kubernetes
- Developer portals
- Measuring platform success and DORA metrics
