Security, development, and other technical staff turn to Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) to prepare for the CEH certification exam over five days. The course builds the practical skills attendees need to identify and exploit vulnerabilities as an ethical hacker. The CEH exam validates that certification holders understand the full range of subject matter required to work as an effective ethical hacker. It also recognizes the value of identifying security issues early so teams can remediate them. Sixteen lessons carry attendees from networking and security foundations through footprinting, scanning, and enumeration. From there, the lessons move into system hacking, malware, sniffing, social engineering, and wireless security. The final lessons cover attack and defense, cryptography, security architecture and design, and cloud computing and IoT security. Hands-on labs accompany the material throughout, giving attendees practical, exam-ready experience across the full range of CEH topics.
The week opens with an ethical hacking introduction that frames legal and methodological boundaries. Attendees then build networking and security foundations they will lean on throughout. Reconnaissance modules have attendees footprint targets and scan live networks. Enumeration and system hacking labs then turn that intelligence into actual access attempts against vulnerable machines. Malware and sniffing sessions examine how attackers move once inside a network. Social engineering and wireless modules then cover the human and radio-frequency angles many defenders overlook. The back half of the week shifts toward defense and theory, pairing attack-and-defense exercises with cryptography and security architecture. It closes with a look at cloud computing and IoT risks, which extend the attack surface beyond the traditional network perimeter.
Who Should Attend
Security Engineers, Developers, DevSecOps Engineers and other IT staff
What Attendees Will Learn
Upon completing Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), attendees will be able to:
- Apply ethical hacking methodology alongside networking and security foundations
- Perform footprinting, reconnaissance, and network scanning against target systems
- Enumerate systems and analyze vulnerabilities for exploitability
- Execute system hacking, malware, and sniffing techniques in a controlled lab environment
- Recognize and defend against social engineering and wireless security threats
- Apply cryptography and security architecture and design principles
- Evaluate security considerations in cloud computing and Internet of Things environments
- Prepare for and pass the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification exam
Prerequisites
Attendees should have Linux skills, basic networking skills, and some scripting or programming experience. Prior security experience is helpful but not required.
