Ronald Petty at Google Visitor Experience (The Huddle)
Ronald Petty presented “The Asceticism of Technology” at The Huddle (Google Visitor Experience).
In this talk, Ronald explores how the environment shapes human behavior is increasingly digital. Using the sociological lenses of Max Weber’s discussions on society and Erik Erikson theories on individuals, he asks a big question:
Are social media and AI writing the next chapter in human evolution… or is this something fundamentally new?

Guest lecture: “The Agentic Power of MCP” (CNCF AI TCG)
We also started the year strong with a community session led by Ronald as part of the CNCF AI TCG series – a guest lecture on the importance the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and what it enables for modern Agentic AI systems.
