AI Strategy for Product Managers equips attendees with the essential skills and knowledge needed to identify opportunities to leverage AI, across two intensive days. The course covers a wide range of topics, from key enterprise AI application features to AI-assisted requirements and development. It also covers designing AI features in production applications. Through case studies, labs, and in-class thought experiments, attendees gain experience with AI concepts, processes, tooling, market adoption, and organizational impact. A key area of focus is AI’s impact on internal and external user experience, as well as product design and requirements generation. By the end, participants can use AI tools to develop requirements and UX designs that deliver compelling AI experiences for their end users.
Day one moves from concept to craft. Attendees write user stories and acceptance criteria for AI functionality. They document capabilities and limitations with tools like Model Cards and Datasheets for Datasets. They then rapidly prototype AI-assisted interfaces with Figma and GPT APIs. Next, they map bias, fairness, and privacy risks using the Google PAIR Guidebook and IBM AI Fairness 360 Toolkit. Day two turns to the interface itself, examining chatbots, conversational analytics, smart search, and predictive input as concrete ways to enhance customer experience. Participants explore generative design as a co-design partner and map user journeys against AI touchpoints to decide when automation actually helps. They close by working through progressive disclosure, uncertainty visualization, and graceful handling of latency and failed AI responses.
