Attendees work through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on labs, and challenge tasks that mock the exam. This solidifies their knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration and delivery, GitOps, internal developer portals (IDPs), observability, and security. The course closes with a drill session on the last day, giving attendees a practical test-style experience before they sit the exam.
Day one pairs platform architecture with cost management, teaching attendees to right-size resources and enforce multi-tenancy. They then build their first GitOps workflow and secure CI/CD pipeline. Day two moves into progressive delivery strategies and custom resource definitions. Attendees then stand up self-service provisioning through platform APIs, Kubernetes Operators, and automation frameworks. Day three centers on operations: monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing feed into metrics-driven efficiency work, and attendees practice diagnosing incidents and securing service-to-service communication. RBAC, policy engines, and admission controllers round out day four, alongside the first rounds of test prep. Day five stacks two more test-prep sessions before attendees sit for the certification exam itself.
