Continuous Testing Foundation introduces attendees to the principles of continuous testing and shows how to build it into the software development lifecycle. Day one starts with test engineering culture, showing how teams shift testing left and treat quality as a shared responsibility rather than a late-stage gate. Attendees then move into test automation fundamentals, building automated checks against real application code. From there, the course turns to test strategy, comparing approaches across application types and showing how those strategies plug into CI/CD pipelines so tests run on every commit instead of waiting for a manual release.
Day two shifts from building tests to running and managing them at scale. Attendees survey common test frameworks and tooling, then practice managing and analyzing results, tracking flaky tests, coverage gaps, and failure trends over time. Performance and security testing round out the technical content, with hands-on practice load-testing services and checking for common vulnerabilities before code reaches production. A closing module helps attendees select and combine tools that fit their own stack and release cadence.
Throughout both days, the course returns to five core CT Tenets: Shift-Left, Fail Early, Fail Often, Test Fast, and Relevance. These give teams a shared vocabulary for judging any testing practice or tool, whether they are building a new suite or retiring a slow one. By the end, attendees understand continuous testing and its benefits, and have direct experience building, running, and managing automated test suites.
