Hyperledger Fabric for Operators teaches IT and DevOps professionals the principles and practices behind running the Hyperledger Fabric platform, in an in-depth, hands-on course. Day one opens with a blockchain overview and a look at distributed ledger systems, then moves into a detailed introduction to Fabric itself. Attendees also cover application deployment and operation, along with security configuration and use. Each module includes a hands-on lab that deepens understanding of the topics covered, and the day’s labs culminate in deploying a complete Fabric network with smart contracts and operational client programs.
Day two covers multinode Fabric network configuration and deployment with Hyperledger Cello. Attendees gain experience with chaincode containers and learn basic management tasks for LevelDB/CouchDB and Apache Kafka, the low-level components of a Fabric system. The course wraps up with best practices and other Fabric topics. Upon completion, attendees have the knowledge and skills needed to build and operate production Hyperledger Fabric networks.
The opening lab grounds attendees in cryptography fundamentals before they stand up a simple Fabric network from scratch. Security labs then dig into membership service providers, organizations, and channel configuration, giving attendees hands-on practice defining who can see and transact on which parts of the ledger. On day two, multinode labs configure a working multi-organization deployment, while the Cello module automates provisioning across that infrastructure. A final lab has attendees manage and monitor the platform’s low-level services directly, reinforcing the operational skills covered throughout the week.
