Blockchain Advanced is an in-depth, two-day, hands-on course where developers, security professionals, and other technology staff dive into advanced blockchain topics. Day one opens with a quick review of core blockchain concepts, then moves into security, walking through certificate management and SSL configuration for protecting peer-to-peer network traffic. Multi-node deployment labs have attendees stand up a distributed ledger across several nodes, and the day closes with application integration, wiring outside services into the ledger through vendor SDKs.
Day two turns to consensus, contrasting proof-of-work and proof-of-stake schemes with the Byzantine Fault Tolerant approaches common in permissioned networks. A Gossip protocol segment shows how nodes propagate state changes efficiently across a distributed network without a central coordinator. Attendees then work through asset modeling, encoding utility and security tokens as smart contracts in hands-on labs. The course closes with system integration, tying these pieces together into patterns attendees can reuse when connecting a ledger to existing enterprise systems. By the end, attendees have a deeper, more practical understanding of blockchain technology.
